In the spring of 2016, the Faulkton Area Economic Development was preparing for Faulkton’s West Side Addition. The new location, on the west side of Faulkton, is where new homes can be built. The Development Corp. acquired the Gary Huss land, which was 75 acres, and named it Phase I. Water, sewer, roads with a 12 inch gravel base, have been completed along with street lights and Venture Communications wired in. There will be no curb and gutter, and no paved roads up front until the building is complete. Phase I has three culdesacs (see photo above). These lots vary from 190’x200’ to 100’x150’. The first new home in Phase I is that of Kevin and Erin Stark (right).
