New business in Faulkton
January 15, 2018
Above are new business owners, Carrie and Brandon Tennant, who started their new electrical business Jan. 1 of this year.
Faulkton has long been in need of a Faulkton based independent electrician. We now have one, Tennant Electric. Brandon Tennant, 35, is a Lebanon native, graduating from Gettysburg High School in 2000. He went on to Mitchell Tech for a two year degree in EC & M (electrical construction and maintenance). Right after graduating in 2002 he went to work for Schatz Electric in Gettysburg from 2002 until 2017. For the time being Tennant is working independently.
Tennant and his wife Carrie and family have been living in Faulkton for more than three years, building their new home on the southwest edge of Faulkton. Carrie is originally from Hoven, and works at the Faulkton Senior Living Center as an RN/MDS coordinator full time. Their children are, Caitlyn Carter, a college student, Gage Carter, a sophomore, and Brooklyn Tennant, an eighth grader, along with Katelyn Tennant, who passed away last March.
The Tennants enjoy camping and fishing, when time permits.
“We made the decision to form our business at the end of 2017. I’m excited to be in my own business and look forward to serving the electrical needs of the Faulkton area community,” Tennant said.
Tennant will be at the KC Lumber & Supply appreciation luncheon this Saturday, Jan. 13, so stop in and meet Brandon between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Mark Toennies Plumbing will also be at KC Lumber that day.
Tennant Electric will serve residential, commercial and agriculture. Give him a call, 598- 4298 or 769-2369.
