Faulk County Community Transit is happy to announce a country music event the group is bringing to Faulkton.

On Mon., Aug. 16 Gordy and Debbie will present “Country Legends” beginning at 7 p.m. at the Faulkton Legion Hall. Tickets for the event are $15 per person and are available at Faulkton Drug or can be ordered via venmo from Linda Bartholomew at Venmo@LindaBartholomew-2 (include your name and tickets will be held at the door for you!). Ticket will only be available at the door if not sold out.

The nine time Musical Duet Group of the Year presents “Country Legends” featuring a nostalgic musical journey of songs and the faces who made them famous to life in their show. This is a family-friendly show. This meticulously designed show is enhanced with video footage in each song they perform and perfectly synced with the music to create the illusion of the original artist that performed the song, only with Gordy & Debbie providing their amazing vocals live! Some of the videos even provide a storyboard of each artist’s life, complete with pictures of the past and present, as well as tidbits of interesting information about the artist or the song! This show is pure country music and storytelling at its finest and it’s even laced with a little humor and some great audience participation. Some of the Country Legends you will hear Gordy & Debbie perform are Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Lynn Anderson, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Tanya Tucker, Glenn Campbell, Anne Murray, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, plus many more! The show’s grand finale culminates with a medley of three great country songs all meshed together with an all-star cast of country music’s biggest stars from the past and present. This show will be an experience you won’t soon forget!

The duo performs in Branson. While touring they also perform in Deadwood and at the rally in Sturgis, as well as in Arizona, Texas and Florida.

This performance is a fundraiser for the Faulk County Community Transit. The Legion Hall is air conditioned. Water will be for sale at the performance, as well as FREE popcorn. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Free rides on the community transit bus will be available to and from the show with advance reservations by calling the transit number (605)228-7938.
