Animal Health Center donated $1,200 to Hope’s Park & Playground. Above are left, Beth Deiter, Hope’s Park & Playground committee member, Animal Health Center’s Dr. John Bode, and Faulkton Area Economic Development Corp. Director Trevor Cramer.
Dr. John Bode and Dr. Bill Baus of Animal Health Center wanted to give back to the Faulkton community and thought of no better way than to donate to the new Hope’s Park & Playground. A check for $1,200 was presented to Beth Deiter on Tuesday morning at the Center.
Deiter stated that donations have been coming in and thanks the community and businesses for their generosity.
The website to donate to the park is http://www.brickmarkersusa.com/donor/hpp.html. This website is very user friendly and allows the donor to specify what they want written on their brick.
Donations may also be made using the ad in the Faulk County Record, or the printed cards available at various Faulkton area businesses.
“We want to remind area businesses that received an informational letter at the beginning of December to contact Beth Deiter if you have any donation questions. We are encouraging businesses and individuals who want to donate to do so by the end of January. The order for the bricks needs to be finalized in the near future to get the bricks made and delivered in a timely fashion for their installation,” stated Deiter. “We also need to assess our fundraising campaign and where we stand in raising the needed dollars to complete the project.”
