Faulkton kicks around diverse issues as Capital for a Day

FAULKTON — Asked to settle on a single topic for a community roundtable discussion Tuesday, Faulkton city officials chose housing.
But that was far from the only topic kicked around when Gov. Dennis Daugaard visited the Faulk County seat as part of the state’s Capital for a Day program.
Health care, the prospect of a new jail, sewer projects, education and economic development were also talked about as Daugaard was escorted around town. He spoke at four meetings and with more than a dozen business owners or operators.
