New county highway shop to be built this summer
10 Mar 2019
A much needed new Faulk County Highway shop is hoped to be built this summer at the old site on 8th Ave. N. just north of the Faulkton Fire Dept. buildings.
The Faulk County Commissioners have been considering a new shop since 2017.
The commissioners hope to keep the building project under $1 million and have approximately $1.1 million set aside for the project. Taxes will not be affected as the commissioners had made some cuts to the 2018 and 2019 budgets to pay for the project.
It is hoped that the bids (which will be let immediately) will come in under the proposed $1 million budget.
