Faulkton to receive Act of Excellence recognition from the SD Hall of Fame

Faulkton will be one of the communities to receive the recognition of The Act of Excellence from the South Dakota Hall of Fame. The Act of Excellence recognizes everyday excellence and the acts that make a huge difference in communities across South Dakota!

As part of this special recognition, there will be an Act of Excellence celebration in Aberdeen on Wednesday, April 3 at the Northern University Campus.

There will also be be video broadcasting a special program of Dream Chasers: The Aberdeen Way: Resilience and Prosperity.

For the celebration, guests may attend the 4:30 - 6 p.m. events when Faulkton’s act is announced. Participants are asked to arrive between 3:45 to 4 p.m. as the general public registration will begin at 4 p.m. with the AOE celebration starting at 4:30 p.m. The honoree stories are read with a presentation of materials. A poster with Faulkton’s Act of Excellence will be on display and there will be a chance to visit with participants before and after the program.
