Faulk County Business Resource Fair

Common Sense Manufacturing hosted the Faulk County Business Resource Fair on November 18, 2014. The program was sponsored by the Faulkton Area Economic Development Corp. and Dakota Resources. 45 entrepreneurs and community leaders, including representatives from the city council, county commissioners, and the Business and Professional Association, had opportunity to connect with representatives from Dakota Resources, The Governors Office of Economic Development, the Small Business Development Center, the Northeast Council of Governments, and Grow South Dakota. 

Entrepreneurs were given guidance on qualifying and applying for the Dakota Rising Fellowship program. Many entrepreneurs had the opportunity to connect with resource people in our state to help grow and expand their businesses. Sharon Tanner, who is the local site coordinator for the Dakota Rising program, said, "Together we are building a vibrant community that believes it is possible to send the message: Yes, we do have a place for YOU!"
