Tentative schedule for Wild West Days 2017

The Record has been contacted by several people wondering if there was a tentative schedule for next year’s All School Reunion and Wild West Days. The following is a tentative schedule for Wild West Days 2017:

• Friday, June 30: The Dweeds Band at Dot T’s.
• Saturday, July 1: 1972 class reunion at Lakeside Country Club; 1952 class reunion at Dot T at 5:30 p.m.; live music at J & J Bar.
• Sunday, July 2: Lakeside Wild West Days Golf Tournament; Faulkton All School Reunion, social hour 6 p.m., supper 7 p.m., program/entertainment 8 p.m., and dance 9 p.m.
• Monday, July 3: Dacotah Bank Brat feed; Marguerita Monday and live entertainment at Short Stop Bar; fireworks.
• Tuesday, July 4: parade; B & P picnic in the park; Bloody Mary Bar after parade at Short Stop Bar.

The All School Reunion committee sent out letters to one person in each FHS class to collect correct addresses for their class. The email for the FHS All-School Reunion is Faulkton allschooolreunion@yahoo.com. Like on Facebook at 2017 Faulkton All School Reunion.

The next meeting for the committee will be Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at Faulkton City Hall meeting room when postcards will be mailed to all past Faulkton School students.

The new committee is president Dawn Redden, vice president Jerod Raethz, secretaries Kayla Hanson and Kayla Roseland, treasurer Deb Clement, entertainment Carrie Deiter, publicity Peg Speck, Nancy Grunewaldt and Val Ramsdell. Outgoing president Jim Goebel and treasurer Jean Deiter will also be on the committee as advisors.
