Bowar and Boss are FHS Royalty

Tonner Bowar and Madison Boss are the FHS Homecoming King and Queen for 2016. Tonner is the son of Gary and Nickie Bowar of rural Faulkton and Madison is the daughter of Angie and Kent Borstad and Todd Boss, of Faulkton. The King and Queen and their court are, left, Brandi Melius, Ellen Schlechter, Layla Stevens, Queen Madison Boss, King Tonner Bowar, Jack Aesoph, Tyler Gutenkauf and Tyler Cunningham.

Here is the schedule of events remaining for the week. On Thursday, Sept. 22 the Competition Cheer team heads to Sioux Valley High School for competition Cheer at 5:30 p.m. at Volga. Friday is a big day with the parade starting at 1 p.m. and a pep rally at the school following. Punt, Pass & Kick will follow the pep rally. The Faulkton Volunteer Fire Department will host a tailgate party at 5 p.m. with the football game vs. Northwestern starting at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 24 the girls volleyball team hosts the CSDC Tournament starting at 11 a.m.
