Faulkton Economic Dev. tiers will meet Monday, March 13

The Faulkton Area Economic Development Quality of Life group will meet on Monday, March 13 at noon in the economic development office across from Dacotah Bank.

This meeting is an opportunity to do some strategic planning for the coming year. Issues like a biking / walking trail, community bus service, home health care, improvements to community facilities, and whatever other issues you think are important to our community’s quality of life. Please bring your lunch and join us if you are interested!

The Business and Entrepreneurship Pillar of the Economic Development Corp will be meeting Monday, March 13 at 2 p.m. at the economic development office with Kristi Wagner from Dakota Resources. Discussion will be held on the recent partnership with the Faulkton Area Business and Professional group, successes, and the next steps to continue supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs. If you have supported this pillar previously, or have any interest in supporting local businesses, please join us!

Housing Pillar of the Economic Development Corp will be meeting with Kristi Wagner at 7 p.m. Monday, March 13 at the office of the Development Corp. This group has not met, as a group, for quite some time so it will be good to get everyone informed and updated on all that has and will be happening in regard to housing developments in the community. Additionally, the group will be reviewing the results of the housing survey that has been circulated. All are welcome who have previously been involved with the housing pillar along with anyone new who feels motivated to commit some time toward helping address the housing needs of this community.
