New Faulk Co. Jail is getting close to opening

This drone photo of the new Faulk County Jail was taken by Diane Hansen the end of August. As of Monday, Oct. 2 about the only things left for completion are the final cleaning of the building and paving the lot.
The first thing to be moved into the new building will be the Sheriff’s offices. Be watching for an open house that will give tours of the new jail and offices. The open house will happen before prisoners are moved in. There will be a meeting of the architects, construction managers and the commissioners sometime this week to be sure everything is in place and up to code.
