New age auto repair

Casey Hlavacek is a Faulkton, South Dakota native who moved away but managed to find his way back home. He opened the Auto Shop in 2013. The shop provides a variety of services, from basic oil changes to full transmission replacement.

Hlavacek graduated from Lake Area Tech with a master certification in automotive repair. He worked for a while at the Brookings Automotive Service Center and at the Anderson Ford Dealership in Lincoln, Nebraska before moving back to Faulkton to start his own shop.

His shop, just north of the Pickler Mansion, is branded as “the new age of automotive repair,” because Hlavacek has the latest computerized diagnostic tools and programming equipment.
