"Oil Up Buttercup" is Open for Business

February 14, 2018

buttercupJoDee Bryant has started a new business in Faulkton called “Oil Up Buttercup” just to the east of the Faulkton Development office on Hwy. 212.

Retirement hasn’t slowed Bryant down. She retired as the Farm Loan Manager on Dec. 28, 2017, and certainly didn’t let any grass grow under her feet, starting her new business right away. She has been fixing up the shop for about ten days and now has it ready for business. She even has room in the back to hold classes.

Bryant has been using essential oils for about three years now, finding out about the oils through friends. She has been pleased with the health benefits this has given her and her family and decided the best thing to do was to share these benefits to help other families. This is also a family endeavor as her daughter Amy, who lives in Webster, also sells the oils.

“These oils give your body the power to heal itself. There are oils for emotional health, depression, immunity protection, stress relief, plus many other benefits,” stated Bryant.

There are classes that will be held weekly with various coaches teaching you how and when to use the oils. On opening day, (today!) Jan. 31 there is an introduction and refresher course at 5 p.m. at her shop. Upcoming classes are Feb. 7, an emotional class; Feb. 14, a couples class (this Valentine’s class is by invitation only so you must get in touch with Bryant as they will be serving dinner that evening, so call now!) On Feb. 15 there will be a magnesium foot soak. There is a charge for this class which will be held at 3 and again at 5:15 p.m. On Feb. 19 since there is no school that day there will be a “kids rollerball class”. Most of the classes are free, however for some there is a charge.

At present Bryant is open by appointment and hopes to expand to two days a week.

“Also watch for my grand opening,” she stated.

I can tell she is excited to have her shop in town and looks forward to showing the benefits of essential oils to other families. Congratulations and good luck to JoDee on her new endeavor.
