
Nikki Melius receives award

Nikki Melius was presented the Faulkton Area Lions 2018 Community Service Award at their dinner held Wednesday night, May 23 at R & R Pheasant Hunting Lodge. Melius was also the guest speaker. Lions president Virgie Wagner (left) presented the plaque to Melius.
This year’s Faulkton Area Lions Community Service honoree, Nikki Melius, wears several hats and has made a significant impact on the quality of life in the community.
Mrs. Melius spoke to the Lions club about the FCCLA programs taught in the Faulkton School District and the benefits of that program. Melius is the family and consumer science instructor and FCCLA advisor.
The Faulkton Area Lions Club presented Melius the 2018 Community Service Award for her untiring efforts in making Faulkton a better place to live, and for going the extra mile in all she does and for her many contributions for improving the quality of life for our kids.
