KQKD Brings Back “Faulkton Hour”

KQKD AM 1380 is excited to announce the return of “The Faulkton Hour”. A segment which highlights through a real and very “live” conversation between Kayla Hansen (Faulkton resident) and James Shaman (KQKD’s morning host and general manager) where the sky is the limit! Discussing birthdays, events, anniversaries, sports, news, fund raisers, and anything Faulkton related! The Faulkton Hour takes place live on 1380AM every Monday at 9:05 am. Sponsored by King Insurance, tune into listen to the fun!

KQKD operates the station from their studio located in Redfield’s Main Street Office Plaza. The full-service station began operation in late April of 2021 and covers everything from local sports and news, to talk shows, and a wide range of music. “We are very excited to have Kayla help us bring this show back to KQKD”, said Shaman. “When we first took over the station we were told about the segment and just how popular it was. It seemed like a no-brainer to bring it back. We were very happy to have King Insurance agree to be a sponsor of the show and for them to provide a nice quiet space for Kayla to broadcast from.”
