Woo Hoo Buckaroo! Time to Start Saddlin’ Up for Wild West Days!

Fireworks, bull riding, and barbeque… You know what that means! 

In celebration of America's two hundred and forty-ninth birthday on Independence Day, we’ll be gearing up for four days of fun during our Wild West Days on July 3-6! 

“For more than thirty years, this event has been a highlight for the Faulkton community,” said Faulkton Area Economic Development Corporation (FAEDC) president JoDee Bryant. “And we love how many people from the surrounding areas are drawn together to celebrate this beloved neighborhood event.” 

Some Food For Thought

Did you know that having fun burns a lot of calories? Even more reason to refuse to resist any of the delicious eats that’ll be on the menu from Bauer’s SuperValu, Blondie’s Tables & Taps, BerMac, Buttercup Coffee, J & J Bar, and Short Stop Bar! 

And if those aren’t enough to tempt you out of good behavior, we double dog dare you to pass on what’ll be whipped up by the food trucks from Scotty D’s, JB’s Country Store, Cheryl’s Catering, Chu Chu Food Truck, and Little Red Bakery & Spice.

11:00 AM – Cardboard Boat Races at Faulkton Swimming Pool
1:00 PM – Flex Fitness & Blondies Strongman Challenge
1:00 PM – Matinee at Lyric Theatre
1:00-4:00 PM Tours at the Pickler Mansion
1:00 – 5:15 PM – Open swim at the city pool
1:00 – 4:00 PM – Free carousel rides
6:30 PM – Faulk County Saddle Club Bull Riding Event (Calcutta at 6:00 PM)

1:00 – 3:00 PM – 4-H Carnival at the 4-H grounds
