Tyler Cunningham

I am the third generation of my family to call Faulkton home, graduating high school in 2017. I attended the University of South Dakota, majoring in Accounting and Economics and graduating in 2021. After graduation I moved to Aberdeen to begin my career at Dacotah Bank, knowing the plan was to eventually move home. In the spring of 2023 I got the opportunity to relocate to our Dacotah Bank branch in Faulkton. I work as a credit analyst, doing the financial analysis for agricultural and commercial loans.

I stay plenty busy outside of the bank. Along with being a board member, I am the bookkeeper for the FAEDC. I am also the bookkeeper for Blondie’s Tables & Taps and the treasurer for the youth baseball/softball program. My grandpa and dad have been life-long teachers and coaches in Faulkton and I have continued on the love of coaching. I started helping coaching little league baseball when I was 14 and haven’t taken a summer off since, serving as head coach for the legion and teener teams for the last 6 years. I also started as an assistant basketball coach in the 2023-24 season. When I’m not busy with any of the above, I like to golf, pheasant hunt, and spend time at Lake Faulkton with my family.
